Natural Burial Grounds & Cemetery Sections in Australia

Genuine Natural Burial Grounds:

 

The following facilities meet the Project's definition, and are recognised as genuine natural burial grounds.

​

  • Forest Range Cemetery - This private cemetery was established in 2009 (under the previous South Australian legislation), and is reserved exclusively for natural burial. It is not open to the general public. 

​

  • ​Aldinga Arts Eco-Village Natural Burial Ground - this private natural burial ground is the first facility established in 2016 under the new South Australian Act that came into force in 2014. The burial ground is open to village residents only.
